Dyma Fi! / This is Me!

Aims

The North Wales Regional Equality Network have been funded to work with schools in North Wales on a project to highlight the effects of hate crime and to stimulate thought and discussion on how both primary and secondary pupils can challenge and prevent discrimination and hate crime.

We intend to support teachers in their classrooms in developing a wider understanding of hate crime and discrimination.
  • To stimulate the students to think of ways they can stop hate crime ’meanness’ and - with the aid of their teachers - how to report hate crime.
  • We aim to achieve this through the use of a specifically commissioned poem and related activities, which will be embedded in a learning plan.

You can find the trailer for this project here.
