The North Wales Regional Equality Network (NWREN), as the north Wales race equality body since 2001, welcomes the publication of this policy. NWREN has contributed to the development of the Anti-racist Wales Action Plan, working alongside other voluntary sector bodies and a broad representation of people from all walks of life across Wales, and especially from minorities themselves. We were able to bring a ‘view from the north’ to the debates and discussions out of which the policy developed. In north Wales, as throughout Wales, the implementation of the Anti-racist Wales Action Plan will improve the quality of life for all.
