Introduction

This section lists the Projects that the North Wales Race Equality Network (NWREN) has been or is currently involved in. Although relatively new, good sound information on the North Wales area has been made available to us through our involvement with the Black and Ethnic Support Team project. Using this information we have bid for and will continue to pursue funds which will enable us to fill some of the gaps identified in the report.

We are well aware that in a rural area access to information and advice is problematic and the incidence of large BME communities is rare therefore understanding of the diversity of our society is low. We therefore have tried to focus our attention on Information and Education and you will see those two themes running through the projects that we undertake.
