Corporate membership is open to any organisation that operates within the six counties of North Wales (Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Ynys Môn and Gwynedd). Each Corporate Member and the organisations representative must submit a written commitment to the objects of NWREN.

Standard Benefits
- Access to the most up to date research available (2004) which will provide the basis and understanding for you to prepare your plans and strategies in relation to the development of a healthy diverse environment for your employees and those in receipt of your services.
- Access to information on local BME issues so that you can be proactive when catering for the immediate and long term unmet needs of BME communities.
- Communicate your activities and successes to BME people / groups via our general membership activities (e.g. Newsletters)
- Receive advice on a common approach to community engagement, as part of our Service Level Agreement with you, in order to simplify and co-ordinate your activities.

Objects and Principles of North Wales Race Equality Network
- Name
The name of the charity is the North Wales Race Equality Network. (NWREN)
- Aim
The North Wales Race Equality Network aims to be a focal point for racial harmony and combating racial discrimination as experienced by Black and Minority Ethnic people who live and work within North Wales. The North Wales Race Equality Network will operate in the area of North Wales i.e. Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Ynys Môn and Gwynedd Local Authority Areas.
- Objects
- The objects of the North Wales Race Equality Network are to:
- Challenge unfair discrimination against individuals on the grounds of Race or Ethnic origin, as defined under the 1976 Race Relations Act and any subsequent amendments
- To promote and inform through education and training, race equality action planning and delivery of equality of opportunity among the public, private and voluntary sectors.
- To tackle the major causes of racial discrimination in the public, private and voluntary sectors by promoting good and best equal opportunity practice.
- To increase the awareness of racism and prejudice.
- To celebrate the positive contributions of Black and Minority Ethnic people in a culturally diverse society in North Wales through public education and aware ness programmes.
- To establish and maintain a network of partners of the North Wales Race Equality Network in order to encourage race equality work and better race relations in North Wales.
- To seek feedback from community, individual, public, private and voluntary sectors in order to monitor the effect and effectiveness of the Network.
- To provide qualitative and quantitative data to inform local regional and national debate.
- The North Wales Race Equality Network shall be non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion, and shall bear in mind the context of the Welsh language issues in all its responses to the needs of Black and Minority Ethnic people in North Wales.
- The North Wales Race Equality Network shall at all times pay due regard to the representation of women, and Black and Minority Ethnic people in the composition of the General and Executive Committees and any sub-committees established.
